Have you ever wondered about the statement "Thy Kingdom Come"?   Many believe that "Kingdom" is for the church age.   Many believe that "Kingdom" only pertains to Christ Himself.   However, over and over throughout the Gospels, Jesus keeps referring to the "Kingdom" as having many avenues and ways.   For instance, Christ said "The Kingdom is like...."

In the book of John, Jesus said, "My Kingdom is not of this world....".   This means the world would not understand the ways of His Kingdom, nor would they be able to comprehend the lifestyle of the people in His Kingdom.  Paul goes on to say in the book of Romans, "For the Kingdom of God is not meat and drink, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Ghost."  Later in the book of I Corinthians, Paul reminds the Church in Corinth, "For the Kingdom of God is not in word, but in power."

To us at Grace, the Kingdom of God SHOULD NOT be based on what we may think a Christian should look like, act like, or talk like. It SHOULD be based on:

  1) if the person is saved. That is, knowing that their Eternity will be be in Heaven.

  2) if the person has peace and joy in the Holy Ghost

  3) if the person can sense the Power of God working in and through their life.

It's all about the A B C'S of the Kingdom of God.

A - Accept others for who they are and where they are in their life.. By and through the Love of Christ, and because of WHOSE we are, not who we are.

"Come unto Me all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give thee rest"

B - Believing that the Word of God is the Inspired Truth of Jehovah, and that through His Word, everyone has the opportunity to know that Jehovah forgives, Jehovah loves, and Jehovah gives us everlasting  life through His Son, Jesus.

"Whosoever shall call upon the name of the LORD shall be saved."

C - Committing our ways, our thoughts, and our lives  to Jesus Christ.  We believe in the CCC standard-- Christians Committed to Christ, not only as to not what we teach and believe, but more importantly, as to how we live our lives.

"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart, lean not unto thine own understanding,  in all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths."

I want to personally invite you to our church located in Milford Ohio, on State Route 28 in "Old Milford".  We are proud of our city in which the Lord allows us to serve.  Our church takes part in our great community in so many ways.  "Nobody cares how much you know until they know how much you care" .   It's not a "What Would Jesus Do?", thing.  It's a "What Jesus Did" thing.

If you want to see a how a KINGDOM CHURCH looks in action, join us this Sunday.
